New Advertising Code effective April 1st 2009

As of April 1st a new Advertising Code for Premium SMS Services has been effected. The Dutch Advertising Code Committee has made changes to a number of topics and therefore it is very important that you review your services and make sure they are still compliant with the new code.

One of the major changes is in the time frame between receiving a complaint and informing the customer about the complaint.

In the new code a transition period of 6 weeks is given. This means that as of May 13 of 2009 your services need to be compliant with the new code. The full document has been published on www.smsgedragscode.nl and on www.targetpay.com/regulation
